Theme

Every night, we go to sleep. And our minds go through a variety of sleep cycles which often result in a unique sequence of dreams. This show explores the various types of dreams we have. The show begins with the ensemble "going to sleep" and then drifting into dreamland. The first types of dreams experienced in this show are the ones that don't make sense. The type of dreams where you're at school or work, and you realize you forgot to wear pants. The next movement launches into the nightmares we often experience when dreaming. Lastly, peaceful sleep is finally achieved in the closing movement. The show ends with the ensemble waking up after a peaceful night's rest.
