Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! We do charge for this work, but we are happy to make any and all edits to on of our shows, to customize it for your ensemble’s exact needs. This includes cuts, additions, instrumentation adjustments, re-orchestration, difficulty adjustments and whatever else you can think of. Please contact us for a price estimate.

  • We offer regional exclusivity for all of our shows. All we need is a list of your competitions for your upcoming season and we will make sure that no one else shows up to that competition and plays the same show.

  • We are happy to provide notation files free of charged to all of our clients. Most shows are written in Finale but some are written in Sibelius. In either case, we will provide the notation file as well as a .XML file so the file can be opened in other software.

  • Yes, we actually encourage it! One of the coolest things about the marching activity, is how everything is customizable. If you show up to a concert band festival and you’ve moved the clarinet solo in your Holst to a saxophone, the adjudicators will probably give you a funny look. But in the marching arts, anything goes! You know your ensemble better than anyone. So if you need to water your tenor sax part, do it! If you see a mellophone solo that would work better on a baritone, do it! At the end of the day, we just want your students to be successful.

  • Every show that has music in it that is not public domain or original, will require licensing that is not built into the cost listed on our website. The go-to place these days is Tresona Licensing. Once you submit a license request to them, they will take care of contacting the publisher of the music and handling that side of things. Let us know if you want us to take care of all of that and we can build the cost into your estimate.

For shows that don’t require licensing, browse our Royalty Free Shows.

  • School budgets can be difficult, and sometimes you don’t have access to your upcoming school year funds until after band camp has started. We understand! Please email us at info@jeffchambersmusic.net for more information on deposits and payment plans!

  • We sure do! We are proud to offer the services of multiple in-house designers that we work closely with. Additionally, we have a wide network of designers spread across the country that we are happy to get you in touch with. Drill design, winds choreography, guard choreography and program coordination are all services we are able to offer in-house which will get you the best cohesion with your show.

  • We would be happy to! Just let us know the specific difficulty levels of your group, and we will go through your show with a fine-tooth comb and make sure everything is a perfect fit for your group. As is the case with all custom work, this is an added cost to the base price of our shows.
