Saint-Saens, “Carnival of the Animals” is the source music for this show. This arrangement is based on the imagination of a child. There are five movements. First, your inner child imagines being a Hero, an Explorer, and an Astronaut. As in all of life, reality steps in and you deal with Conformity. But, the inner child prevails as the show closes with “I Want to be a Performer.” This production lends itself to a variety of voice-over opportunities as well as exciting guard costumes, flags, and backdrops. By focusing on the show from a child’s perspective, imagine the vivid colors, shapes, and even size perspectives that could be presented. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.
