Icarus
The legend of Icarus is a timeless tale in which Icarus is given a pair of wings made out of feathers and wax, but cautioned not to fly too high as the sun could melt his wings. When Icarus becomes overconfident and flies too close to the sun, his wings fall apart and he plummets into the ocean! Our show Icarus brings this legendary myth to the field and portrays the fall of Icarus, making it a great vehicle to teach life lessons about pride and humility. Visual themes for this show could include feather motifs, either as props to represent the wings, or as elements of the band and guard costuming.
