Nabataen Apparitions
This is an exciting original composition written for a competitive marching band! The show features a music written in the Arabian style. There are three movements: Al-Uzza, Al-Lat, Menat. Each movement is named after one of the Goddesses from pre-Islamic Arabia, but the music is versatile and could fit a lot of different themes. A search of Arabian Nights should be the starting place for your designs. Be sure to incorporate the lush color palette, the cool enticement of an Oasis and, of course, the majestic palaces with their entire splendor. You could also use the story of One Thousand and One Arabian Nights for more inspiration. This show offers many unique musical moments and ideas that would work well with many themes or guard ideas.
