You may hear some familiar music in this show from another of our shows, inPRISMent, but this time we focused more on the concept of light refraction and worked with some new music. Selections include the Stranger Things Theme, Aha by Imogen Heap, Heart of Glass by Blondie and Philip Glass, Palladio for String Orchestra by Karl Jenkins and Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. The theme of this show opens up a realm of visual and conceptual possibilities around things like lenses, magnifying glasses, prisms, and rainbows. A creative color palette also invites opportunities to depict things like a glass prism exploding light into a rainbow. Opaque silks could add a nice touch in the guard, and the music book really gives every section an opportunity to be featured and highlighted!
