Written language may be man’s greatest invention. In the words of Abraham Lincoln, it allows us to converse with the dead, the absent and the unborn. Writing On The Wall is a show about the impact of words and features the story of a man who effected great change though his writing, treasury secretary Alexander Hamilton. With source music from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s iconic musical, a cultural juggernaut in its own right, glued together by Sam Smith’s ballad "Writing’s On The Wall," this show uses fun and recognizable music to tell an accessible yet powerful story. Visual themes like old-fashioned ink pen props, oversized tablets of paper, or brown-yellow colors to evoke the palettes of historically significant documents will bring this show to life on the field!
